Our nonprofit educational farm at St Joseph Center is a volunteer endeavor. Our team of more than 50 volunteers helps with daily garden work, feeds and cares for the animals every day, assists with general upkeep, helps run our markets, and makes the farm a very special place for visitors.
If you think it would be fun to volunteer at the farm and you would like to join our group of dedicated volunteers, please attend a mandatory volunteer orientation every first Saturday of the month, at 10am. And if you don't know a lot about animals or gardening, don't worry! We can train you -- and kids, too!

Feed and water goats, chickens, ducks, sheep, cows. Collect and wash eggs for the market. Clean animal enclosures.
Our gardens have 200+ blackberries bushes, 3 high tunnels, and 5+ acres of garden. We need all the help we can get weeding, harvesting, planting, and more.
Check-out cashier, replenish shelves and visit with customers about the produce and products.
Paint, hammer, clean, build...
We have several restoration projects annually to restore the property. Work inside and outside is availible.
Learn about the historic site and building, then help us give tours or the building and grounds.
